Children aged 9 – 13
A collaboration with Krokusfestival & cultuurcentrum Hasselt (Belgium).
Due to the success of 2022, we are once again creating pop-up performances with a group of children for the Krokusfestival in Hasselt.
If you stay alert, you might see them sneaking closer, gathering around a corner, or approaching from afar. And then, suddenly, the Popoppers appear, surprising spectators with play and dance, only to disappear again.
Just like in 2022, the Popoppers are still doing their thing, somewhere between dance, theater, music, and more—always unexpected, powerful, and surprising. Once you’ve seen them, you’ll want to see more of them! You’ll want to encounter them again. Differently. Elsewhere. And you can!
The Popoppers are untamable and unpredictable. Keep your eyes and ears open during Krokusfestival, and who knows, you might have an extraordinary, powerful encounter with the Popoppers. You can’t book tickets for this; you’ll meet them whenever and wherever it suits them.
It’s great that we can co-create and decide the order of our performances. Normally our teachers do this. – Jill (12)
